Welcome to our Casa La Mariposa adventure!
It all started with a spark. When we met in a salsa/bachata dance hall somewhere in the cold Netherlands, we quickly discovered our shared passion for Spain and a deep love of tapas, Spanish music and the Mediterranean climate.
We truly try to weave our passion into our lives. Together we founded our own Latin dance school, where we hear and feel Spanish music every day. And now the moment has come to share our passion for Spain and our brand-new guest house with you.
Even the search for THE house that matched our ideals was a wonderful journey with a beautiful outcome. We spent a year gathering everything we needed to turn this house into our little gem. Then we transported everything to Spain by lorry. A few weeks of hard graft, and just look at the result. Will you take a look with us at how it turned out?
We are privileged and very grateful to call this beautiful corner of Spain our second home. From the moment we set foot here, we felt an irresistible pull to this magical place, and we knew we wanted to create something very special - not just for ourselves, but to share this unforgettable experience with others.
Casa La Mariposa is a place our hearts are full of, and we love letting others enjoy this special spot too. We created this home with a great deal of care and attention, so it offers a warm and welcoming environment for everyone who stays here. To be honest, it was almost too beautiful to rent out. So you're truly in luck that this little jewel is available for you!
The name, “Casa La Mariposa,” is a tribute to the beautiful butterfly, a symbol of transformation and freedom. In several subtle places around the house you'll find delicate details honouring this special creation of nature, wrapping you in an atmosphere of enchantment.
We are in love with everything the Spanish lifestyle has to offer. From the delicious tapas to the breathtaking surroundings, not to mention the blissful climate - every day feels like a celebration of discovery and wonder. Casa La Mariposa is so much more than just a holiday home; it's an experience we want our guests to share in.
